Billy Troy

Whether it's music from the 50's, 60's 70's or today's current hits, Billy Troy does it all. His voice along with his passion for the stories behind the music leave an incredible impact on his audiences. His musical heroes are as wide ranging as his own talent. From Billy Joel, Merle Haggard, Paul McCartney to Marty Robbins, you will hear and feel these influences throughout his show along with other classic country artists you know and love. It has been said countless times from audience members after hearing Billy Troy perform... "I feel like I've been to The Grand Ole Opry" And this is with good reason.

Billy Troy has achieved an extensive and exciting career in the entertainment industry. Starting with his father, Uncle Josh Graves who played dobro for Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs. This allowed Billy to spend Friday & Saturday nights as a young boy standing backstage at The Grand Ole Opry watching his dad perform. Feeling the excitement during each one of those shows molded Billy into the entertainer he is today. Billy Troy performed on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry himself  having the honor of being introduced by Mr. Roy Acuff. The standing ovations and encores he received during those times remain as the most memorable in his life as an entertainer.

Billy Troy further penned a musical play entitled “Memories of the Opry” documenting those unforgettable times he spent backstage with his father. The play was an immense success and toured nationwide for sold-out venues.

Billy’s accomplishments as a Nashville singer, songwriter & music producer have garnered him distinct Grammy nominations along with a Grammy Finalist nod for his production work in country & bluegrass music. His  production of the timeless holiday song “Sleigh Ride” from the CD “Pickin’ On Christmas” was featured in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. You will also hear his work being broadcast during the seating of Disney's Lion King Show at Orlando's Animal Kingdom.

Additionally, Billy Troy served on the Board of Directors of the Southwest Symphony as well as managed one of the largest publishing companies Peer Music Group in Nashville.

Billy further maintains his expertise in lights, sound & production as a consultant on numerous entertainment venues nationwide.

Billy Troy has performed an array of locations  including the United States, Canada & several European tours. Notably in Switzerland, where he headlined the annual Albisgutli Music Festival in Zurich.

No matter the venue Billy Troy without exception

gives his all.
